Farhan founded Market One Media Group in 2013 to meet public companies’ demand for a new approach from investor relations firms. He brought more than a decade and half of experience working with brokerage firms in financial capital markets to the new digital marketing firm, giving him the insights and contacts needed to set a new course for investor relations.

He was a mining analyst early in his career, before becoming an investment advisor and ultimately partner at Leede Financial. In that work he developed deep relationships with financial institutions and public companies, while coming to realize traditional investor relations was no longer effectively reaching retail investors, who have increasingly come to rely on social media, favourite web portals, and online news sources to inform their investment decisions.

Farhan was on Business in Vancouver’s Forty under 40 list in 2015, won the Best Digital and Media Company in Western Canada at the Notable Awards in 2014, and was honoured to win the Outstanding Volunteer Award in 2014 for his philanthropic dedication, presented by Premier Christy Clark. He was also recently named Canadas next 150 Top Entrepreneurs by the TMX Group. Farhan stays actively involved in the community as President of the Vancouver-False Creek Riding Association and Member of the Board of Advisors of TEDx Vancouver.

Shaun has worked in the areas of finance, administration and corporate governance with a number of private and public companies over the past 15 years. He has extensive experience in all aspects of financial reporting, corporate regulatory and governance affairs, mergers and acquisitions, and capital raising. Shaun has been involved in a number of start-ups, drawing on his expertise to support their growth from the start-up stage through to public listing.

As part of Market One’s leadership team, he brings this rich experience to the company’s day-to-day operations and financial management, ensuring it is always a tight ship. Shaun holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Memorial University and a Masters of Resource Management from Simon Fraser University.

Hasnain is an early member of Market One, where he focuses on generating net new revenue, ensuring client success, and developing the company’s product offerings. His team manages over 150 accounts across the social media and partner relations team, ad buying, and video production.

Under Hasnain’s leadership, Market One has signed distribution deals with Forbes, BNN Bloomberg, Benzinga, CNBC, and Entrepreneur Magazine. His expertise and achievements have made him a respected figure in the industry.

In addition to his work at Market One, Hasnain is a member of the Forbes Communications Council, a guest lecturer at the University of British Columbia and Simon Fraser University, and holds certifications from Google, Facebook, and LinkedIn. He is also the Chair and Co-Founder of KickOff Canada, a non-profit that uses soccer to promote positive change in communities, and the Vice President of the Vancouver False Creek Riding Association.

Kathleen oversees and manages the marketing initiatives across all departments at Market One. With 5+ years of experience in the marketing industry, she has worked with companies to collaboratively create and deliver customized, data-driven content strategies and insights.

With a passion for personal growth and team development, her strength is scalability while maintaining an authentic company culture at the organization.

Kathleen is the founder of a local soy candle company in Vancouver and is also passionate about giving back to her community.

Brett is a skilled sales professional with a strong background in capital markets and a deep understanding of the Canadian financial landscape. With a degree in Economics from the University of Victoria, he brings analytical expertise and strategic insight to every client interaction. Over the past nine years, Brett has honed his ability to identify market trends, build lasting client relationships, and craft compelling sales narratives tailored to the unique needs of businesses within the capital markets sector.

At Market One, Brett leverages his knowledge of Canadian capital markets to drive revenue growth by connecting clients with impactful marketing solutions. Beyond his professional achievements, Brett is an entrepreneur at heart, constantly exploring new ways to deliver value. In his downtime, he enjoys outdoor adventures like camping and snowboarding, or spending time with his puppy, Dewey.

Fabian is a multiple-award winning journalist, an internationally acclaimed author, filmmaker and media expert. His work over the last three decades spans the globe and he also serves as a consultant/strategic advisor to a variety of international companies. Fabian was the deputy editor-in-chief of The Province newspaper in Vancouver, which is part of the Postmedia group, Canada’s largest media organization.

Greg Hall brings over 40 years of experience in venture capital, corporate finance, and capital markets, with a long track record of building and financing successful companies.

He began his career in Canada’s investment industry, where he was a Founding Partner and Director of both PI Financial (Ventum Financial) and Haywood Securities, two of the country’s leading independent brokerage firms. He later served in senior roles as Vice President at Canaccord Genuity and Senior Vice President at Leede Financial, where he specialized in financing resource companies and advising growth-stage businesses.

Mr. Hall has also contributed to the governance and growth of several public companies. He
served as Director and Chairman of the Audit Committee for Silvercorp Metals (NYSE: SVM), one of the largest primary silver producers globally. In addition, he has been actively involved in structuring financings and corporate development strategies for resource companies across multiple commodities and jurisdictions.

Currently, Mr. Hall is President of Water Street Assets, a private venture capital and advisory firm. He is also Co-Founder and Director of Silver Elephant Mining Corp. (TSX: ELEF), a growing base and precious metals company, and a member of the Institute of Corporate Directors (ICD). Throughout his career, Greg Hall has been recognized for his deep network in global capital markets, extensive expertise in corporate finance, and ability to align capital with growth opportunities in the resource sector.

Bryan is a key facilitator at Market One, providing operational support for all departments. He coordinates video production with all clients, oversees special projects, and account management for clients directly referred to by the CEO. In addition, he streamlines the creative process to ensure marketing programs run smoothly for both the client and media partners.

Gabriel is a New Media & Web Development graduate from BCIT. With knowledge in graphic design, website design, photography, content creation, social media marketing, and project management, he is equipped with a diverse set of skills as the Media Production Coordinator at Market One. He is the main point of contact in the Production Team – coordinating video services while creating a smooth, collaborative, and memorable experience for clients.Outside of work, Gabriel spends his time gaming, travelling, drinking wheat ales and stouts, and rooting for the Seattle Seahawks. #GoHawks

Michael Hainsworth is an accomplished interviewer, veteran news reporter, and lifelong geek. He has interviewed more than 16,000 guests during his 18 years at Canada’s Business News Network (BNN Bloomberg), and as Senior Anchor distilled the day’s most important financial and technology stories into understandable and engaging reports for 2.2 million viewers on the network and the CTV Evening News nation-wide.

In 2018 Michael marked his 30th anniversary in mainstream media by walking away from a
cushy network television anchor chair to re-invent himself for the digital age.

Sharon has managed over 30 clients in the technology, life sciences, cannabis, psychedelics, health tech, and mining sectors to bring their investor marketing to new heights.

As an Account Manager Sharon takes a strong digital marketing lens to help our clients
maximize the impact of our services to amplify investor awareness and engagement.

With over four years of experience in content creation and a talent for advertising and analytics, her digital marketing strategies contributed to a 685% increase in followers, 579% increase in engagements, and 390% increase in impressions for just one client over the course of their campaign.

Outside of the office, Sharon is an avid foodie and traveler with an interest in interior design and real estate investment.

Jainer is a dependable member of the Market One team, managing and coordinating exceptional marketing campaigns across a variety of industries. As the Digital Marketing Manager, he works closely with the sales team and department leads to deliver results and client success. His eight years of experience includes account management, social media management, content creation, and online advertising.

In his off-time, Jainer works part-time at a meal delivery company, paying respect to his previous culinary background. He enjoys running, bouldering, and going to concerts, including the occasional music festival.

Daniella is the Executive Assistant to the CEO at Market One, bringing over 5 years of experience supporting senior executives across the media, entertainment, and tech industries. Known for her leadership, project management skills, and ability to thrive in fast-paced environments, she plays a key role in streamlining operations and driving efficiency at the executive level.

With a sharp eye for detail and a natural talent for multitasking, Daniella ensures seamless coordination across departments while helping maintain the organization’s high-performing culture.

Outside of her role at Market One, Daniella is a working actor in TV and film and has a deep passion for the fashion industry—where creativity and expression fuel her drive both personally and professionally.

Max is a seasoned video producer and editor with over 10 years of experience crafting polished, engaging content for a wide range of audiences. Equally comfortable leading studio shoots or capturing dynamic footage in challenging outdoor environments, he brings a flexible and thoughtful approach to every production. His work blends creativity with strategy to help clients tell clear, compelling stories through video.

At Market One, Max helps translate complex ideas into visual narratives that resonate with business-minded audiences. Outside of work, he enjoys skiing, biking, and fly-fishing in the backcountry around Squamish, BC.

Jim Gordon has been a member of the Vancouver media for over 25 years. He has been the co-host/producer of the weekly TV series, “The Travel Guys” since 2003, co-host/co-producer of the weekly TV series, “Our City Tonight” since 2015, and was CTV Vancouver’s Film/TV Critic from 1998-2017.

Jim is also a Business Anchor for a number of TV/On-line/radio media companies and has extensive experience in writing, directing and creating television productions and corporate videos. He is also co-author of the print version of , “Our City Tonight” found in, “Iconic Concierge Magazine.”

Hannah Bernard is a local entrepreneur, broadcaster and philanthropist in Vancouver. She co-runs local digital agency Roots + Ardor and juggles her broadcaster gigs on the side; mostly in the finance and sports world. She has worked with Market One Media Group for over 6 years and is passionate about sharing stories through impactful interviews!

Nicolle is a passionate member of the Market One team, bringing marketing ideas to life through creative storytelling and strategy. As a Marketing Coordinator, she collaborates closely with clients to craft engaging campaigns, strengthen online presence, and build authentic connections with audiences.
